Hi all, The FJD Trion P1 Firmware V1.7 is now officially released. Below is an overview of the new features：


New Features


1.Camera File Download Error Prompt

Pop up an error message when you're attempting to download video files without connecting to the Insta360 camera.


2.Support for V10a RTK Model

Select the V10a model in RTK settings and apply the corresponding device parameters.

3.Added Information on Differential Age, Baseline Distance, and GNSS

Display differential age, baseline distance, and global navigation satellite system information based on the selected source node when you're using RTK. This helps you quickly check the quality of your signal node and CORS.

Optimized Features


1.SLAM Algorithm Optimization

Resolved real-time point cloud latency issues in open environments on P1.

2.AP Mode Internet Access Optimization

When connecting to the Scan App in AP mode, the iOS devices can now access the internet normally while supporting CORS communication for configuring the rover station (requires the latest Scan App version).

3.Improved Interaction in STA Mode

When connecting in STA mode, clicking the hotspot input field will display a list of nearby Wi-Fi networks. You can just click on a network name to fill it in automatically.


4.Potree Point Cloud Display Optimization

Adjusted default point size and parameters for viewing point clouds from the scanner on the Scan App, giving you enhanced overall display quality.

5.RTK Algorithm Optimization

Applied the correct conversion algorithm for regions with negative longitude values to ensure accurate final coordinate transformation.

6.Continue Scan Optimization

Added feature point detection for continued scans and optimized the operation logic in case of continued scan failure.


How to Update Your Scanner

  1. Make sure your scanner has enough battery charge or is plugged into power. Do not power it off during the update.

  2. Turn on your scanner and connect to it.

  3. Go to Settings->Firmware Update. Then, follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the update.

  4. If the update is successful, you'll see "1.7" as the firmware version.

  5. If any issues occur, contact your regional sales manager for support.
