FJDynamics Launches ISOBUS Ready Harness and TC-GEO/AUX-N to Bring Next-Level Automation and Control in Precision Farming

SINGAPORE, December 16, 2024 — FJDynamics, a global provider of precision agriculture solutions, has announced the introduction of ISOBUS Ready Harness and TC-GEO/AUX-N functionalities, three innovative additions to its current ISOBUS solution. This iteration marks an unprecedented advance in precision agriculture technology and brings more efficiency to farmers in their routine farming management.

"The ISOBUS Ready Harness, TC-GEO, and AUX-N are the direct results of our rapid response to the market demands," said Phoenix Zhao, Product Manager of FJD ISOBUS Products. "By adding these new rollouts to our existing portfolio of ISOBUS solutions, we continue to help farmers stay among the most productive, profitable, and sustainable in the agriculture business."

These innovations will grow to become a keystone within the suite of FJD's precision agriculture tools available to farmers. The company is excited about the positive impact these innovations will have on farmers in their farming activities. With these new advancements working for all ISOBUS-compatible agricultural machine brands, FJD goes a further step toward delivering a complete solution for farmers to utilize the ISOBUS technology.

ISOBUS Ready Harness: A New Way to Leverage the Tech in ISOBUS-Ready Tractor

FJD is expanding its ISOBUS offering with the launch of the new ISOBUS Ready Harness. This addition, combined with its existing universal harness, allows farmers to easily utilize FJD's ISOBUS functionalities on their tractors regardless of brand or model. Designed especially for ISOBUS-ready tractors, the new harness can be directly plugged into the in-cab port for implement control, without troublesome wiring to an implement compared with the previous 9-pin plug and TBC box.

"This is an exciting advancement that is part of our journey to make ISOBUS technology more accessible to farmers around the world. This new type of harness provides an affordable alternative for our farmers to work smoothly with any ISOBUS-compatible tractor, offering flexibility and future-proof investments in cutting-edge agricultural technology," said Zhao.

With data transfer faster than the 9-pin connector, the ISOBUS Ready Harness ensures that every command is executed with the speed and precision that modern farming demands. Designed with cost-effectiveness in mind, the new harness offers a more affordable option without compromising on quality, potentially saving about 40% compared with the old harness.

TC-GEO: Value Every Input Application with Location-Based Precision

Based on site-specific location information collected through GNSS technology, TC-GEO helps manage the complexities of variable rate control (VRC), ensuring that the right amount of inputs like fertilizers and pesticides are applied at the right location within a field. TC-GEO not only helps automate the process of turning on and off individual sections, but also makes it possible to perform different rates for each zone. With this function, farmers can avoid overlaps and missed areas to the greatest extent possible.

"TC-GEO is very useful when a farming activity involves variable-rate application. If you need to apply varying amounts of inputs to different parts of a field, this function will help you achieve this easily with great automation and precision," said Zhao. "You don't have to worry about overlaps or skips, and every input is applied precisely where and when needed. Less waste means more savings."

In addition, TC-GEO can be integrated seamlessly with FJD's FMS platform or any other farm management systems to get the most out of navigation data, offering geographic insights for farmers to make informed decision-making in real time. This facilitates the process of location-based farming activities, enabling farmers to maximize the use of every inch of their land.

AUX-N: Enhance Machinery Versatility Through Auxiliary Control

Another new addition to FJD's ISOBUS functionalities is AUX-N. By centralizing control of various auxiliary functions, AUX reduces the complexity of operating multiple pieces of machinery with different control systems. This means that different brands and models of ISOBUS-compatible machinery, be it a luxurious John Deere tractor or an aged-old implement, can work together seamlessly within the ISOBUS framework.

"There were some technical hurdles that we just worked through in the past months. But right now, we have the software updated to be compatible with the latest AUX-N standards. This is another achievement we've made in the ISOBUS technology," explained Zhao. "If farmers have AUX-N that allows auxiliary control of their complex implements, it's not a problem for them to facilitate the primary agricultural tasks."

Coupled with TC-GEO, AUX-N can be used to manage the operation of valves in agricultural equipment, enabling precise control over the opening and closing actions in the variable rate applications. This capability is essential for automating and optimizing tasks such as irrigation, fertilization, and pesticide application, where the accurate application of resources is crucial.

"We are striving to provide product experience where every farmer feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive in their agricultural business," said Zhao. "That's the motivation driving us to integrate more ISOBUS functionalities into our solutions in the future. We are setting our farmers up for success year-round, even in the most challenging conditions."
