We are excited to announce the release of the FJD Trion Model D206. This upgrade brings several improvements to enhance user experience. Check out what's new and improved below.

New Features

1. Automatic Tree Species Recognition 

Identify tree species from images automatically, helping you work faster and more precisely.

2. Forestry Optimization

Type in the tree name directly, without needing to go into the tree recognition module first.

3. LandXML Format Support

Support the LandXML data format to meet requirements for digital construction and other application scenarios.


4. Mesh-to-Point Cloud Conversion

Convert mesh models into point cloud data. This makes it easy to rotate and translate the model to check if it fits where you need it to go.

5. Data Duplication

Right-click to make an instant copy of the same dataset for side-by-side comparison. This saves you from importing it again.


6. Improved Unit Reading

Support showing feet and inches with fractions, which makes data much easier to read.

7. Point Selection Export

Select specific points—like a landmark or a boundary region—and export them as point sequences or polygons.


8. 3DGS Data Cropping Support

Crop and edit 3DGS models as you like with multiple display and selection modes.


9. Orthophoto Optimization

Provide more details in the orthophoto output. You can now export the orthophoto images in .png and .pdf formats.

Optimized Features

1. Panorama Export Format Adaptation (Japan)

Updated the panoramic export settings to work correctly with the SIMA format used in Japan.

2. Forestry Optimization – Custom Species List

Added support for importing a customized regional tree species list to tag trees faster.

3. Forestry Optimization – Visibility & Custom Names

Added a display radius setting to prevent tree markers from blocking your view, and you can now use custom names for all tree species.

4. Forestry Optimization – Report Filtering

Added filters by tree species in the report, which will also clearly show the filter you used.

5. Forestry Distribution Map

 Included crown-width attributes in the distribution map, making it easier to see how the trunks and canopies are spread out.
