The world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery, Agritechnica 2025 Hannover, held from November 9-15 in Germany, is more than just a showcase of innovation; it's a global meeting point for FJD's innovation and partnership. It was during this week that we took the opportunity to conduct an in-depth interview with Christoph, the Sales Manager from the company Farm-ING.

Based in Lower Austria, Farm-ING specializes in plant management solutions and is one of FJD's most important dealers. Christoph had traveled to Hannover not only to lend his support at the FJDynamics trade fair stand but also to join FJD's partner gala, reinforcing the shared vision for the future of precision agriculture.

Below, we'll share the highlights of our interview with Christoph, covering everything from the start of our three-year cooperation with Farm-ING to the impact of FJDynamics systems on European farms.

Getting to Know Farm-ING

The interview began with a quick introduction from Christoph, setting the stage for his company’s role in the industry. Christoph explained that Farm-ING is an innovative, high-tech company from Lower Austria focused intensely on plant management. This focus makes precision steering systems a critical component of their overall solution for farmers.

"We have had FJDynamics as a partner for steering systems for three years," he confirmed, highlighting the strong, established relationship. Farm-ING's expertise in plant management made them a natural fit for FJDynamics' precision steering solutions, demonstrating a dedication to high-tech, field-tested applications.

The Spark: How Farm-ING Found FJDynamics

The start of the partnership between Farm-ING and FJDynamics was initiated through a simple, modern connection: LinkedIn. When asked how he first learned about the brand, Christoph revealed that "a colleague from FJDynamics contacted my boss on LinkedIn."

This brief initial contact was quickly followed up on at major industry events. The teams first met in person and had detailed discussions at SIMA, the leading agricultural trade fair held in France. This blend of digital outreach and face-to-face interaction solidified the initial interest.

Following the productive meeting at SIMA, the Farm-ING team moved immediately to practical evaluation. Christoph confirmed, "Following that, we set up and tested the first FJDynamics AT1 at our facility." This direct, hands-on testing phase was crucial before committing to a long-term distributorship.

The core decision to formalize the cooperation with FJDynamics was driven by a belief in the company's trajectory and its product philosophy. Christoph explained, "We saw from the beginning that something bigger was developing here." He highlighted two key factors that stood out among competitors: "Very fast integration of the system, of new functions," which demonstrated FJDynamics' commitment to rapid innovation and development.

Ultimately, the choice was pragmatic and centered on serving the end customer. Farm-ING recognized that the FJDynamics steering systems offered precisely what their local farmers needed. As Christoph summarized, "And we simply saw that this is exactly what the farmers out there need. The price-performance ratio is right. And that's how we can work with our farmers out in the field."

Best-in-Class Technology and Customer Trust

When it came to standout products in the FJDynamics portfolio, Christoph confirmed that Farm-ING doesn't rely on just one system but utilizes the entire range of steering technology to meet varied customer needs. This includes the classic AT2 with its simple steering wheel motor, the more advanced AT2 Max featuring ISOBUS compatibility, and the robust hydraulic systems AH2 and AH2 Max. The high-performance CANbus systems with AS2 are also a major focus, demonstrating Farm-ING's commitment to delivering top-tier precision solutions across different machinery types.

Farm-ING's satisfaction with the current portfolio is evident in their high praise for the performance of these systems. Christoph explicitly stated, "We are very satisfied with the performance" of the FJDynamics steering products. This confidence is so strong that they look forward to future releases with high expectations. He added that they are "hopeful for the new products that are being presented here now, that they will function just as well as the previous ones," confirming their belief in FJDynamics' consistent quality and reliability.

The ultimate validation comes from the end-users: the farmers themselves. When asked directly about customer satisfaction, Christoph offered a resounding "Yes, absolutely." This trust isn't just based on reported feedback; it's rooted in Christoph’s personal, hands-on experience. He helps a close friend with farming and uses the equipment himself: "I drive myself. We use two AT2 steering systems. That means I drive with them myself."

This personal usage is a powerful asset for Farm-ING. Christoph's assurance—"I know what I'm doing. I know my way around"—means he can speak with genuine authority about the system's ease of use and reliability. This direct, positive experience reinforces the high level of trust they are able to build with their own customers and dealers.

Supporting Success: Marketing and After-Sales

Farm-ING operates in a highly competitive market where challenges are inevitable. Christoph openly acknowledged the presence of strong rivals, noting, "There are competitors, naturally. There are renowned manufacturers who have been on the market for a very long time."

He also pointed out that other companies exist "in a similar price category." In this crowded field, merely offering technology isn't enough; the key to Farm-ING's sustained success lies in the total package provided by FJDynamics, which distinguishes their products from the rest of the market.

Despite the tough competition, Farm-ING remains highly confident in the partnership due to two critical factors. First is the inherent value of the product: "We are very happy with the high quality of FJDynamics." Second is the commitment to the customer after the sale. Christoph stressed that the "great after-sales support" is a major factor in their happiness and ability to sell effectively.

Also, Christoph praised FJD's strong brand image, noting, "FJDynamics is a very modern company with a strong presence on social media." This digital strategy translates directly into real-world results, which Christoph witnessed first-hand at the trade show: "The trade fair stand here is completely full every day." He emphasized that this visibility is directly tied to "the advertising and how we jointly present the whole thing to the outside world."

Christoph confirmed that this combination of factors—high-quality hardware, excellent after-sales service, and effective advertising—significantly helps with their sales. This holistic approach ensures that Farm-ING is equipped with not only superior technology but also the marketing and support infrastructure necessary to drive traffic, build customer confidence, and maintain a competitive edge in the precision agriculture industry.

Future Vision and Confidence in Collaboration

Looking ahead, the partnership remains focused on continuous product improvement driven by direct user feedback. Christoph provided a practical request straight from the field: a hitch sensor for the steering systems, which allows work recordings to be automatically triggered based on the implement being raised or lowered. He stressed that adding features like this is vital because they make the workflow easier and faster in the real world.

The reason Farm-ING acts as such a valuable source of feedback lies in its close relationship with its distribution network, which serves as the primary on-site contact for farmers. This structure allows for a constant, direct flow of information. Christoph noted that their dealers have experience with other steering systems from brands like Trimble and Raven, and they use this comprehensive knowledge to refine their requests. "We get a lot of feedback through them," he explained, ensuring that the development suggestions passed to FJDynamics are highly relevant and grounded in user necessity.

Crucially, this feedback loop works. Christoph expressed his satisfaction, "implemented very well with software updates and new functions. So that makes us very happy." This reliable process—where dealer feedback transforms into tangible software and product updates—is a major reason for the sustained success of the collaboration. It proves that FJDynamics is actively partnering with its distributors to co-create solutions tailored for the specific demands of the European market.

The interview concluded with a strong affirmation of the long-term partnership. As for the future cooperation, Christoph's response was unequivocally positive: "Yes, we have developed very strongly here. We essentially started from scratch together here in Europe, or in the DACH region, which is our main area." He underscored that their success in acquiring and working with new dealers, finding "good synergies" with their other technologies, is vital for Farm-ING's role as a complete supplier and specialist in smart farming.

The Road Ahead: Grow Together

The interview with Christoph from Farm-ING confirmed that the success of the FJDynamics steering systems lies in a few key areas: an unbeatable price-performance ratio, rapid software integration based on dealer feedback, and robust after-sales support. The future of the partnership looks bright, focused on continued expansion across the DACH region and the development of new requested features to further simplify the farmer’s daily work.

We extend our sincere thanks to Christoph for his time and invaluable insights at Agritechnica 2025. We look forward to many more years of successful cooperation, driving the future of smart farming together.
